thats my job damnit i require your essay on the empire series now
I'm gonna read it again soon and maybe even we could record my takes for the people's podcast.

Yes please
There is the 0.5th rule of thermodynamics that all things tend to drift towards pure entropic absurdity and the whole point of absurdity is it defies expectations and predictions to comedic effect. Therefore the further forward in the time box you are looking the less magic communist science can predict the PURE CHAOS, that's why we need alien magic communist science.
You would ordinarily of course be correct, but that fails to account for the A factor which would mean that your expectations **MUST ** be subverted by whatever would be funniest.
So no, you can't summarize the state of a gas with temperature, pressure, & volume; because you expect that you can and reality is objectively funnier if you can't and god hates you. Trust me, I'm a doctor.

Yes this is a bit
That's why I posted this, I only got as far as the Mule being the wrench thrown in the machinery. Perhaps the second foundation is the dormant and repressed revolutionary faction whereas the first is trying their hardest to prevent the inevitable collapse of empire and by extension capitalism.
I’m tempted to go re-read the books and then make a stupid 2000-word effortpost on it
I'm literally contemplating doing that right now. I read it when I was like a senior (almost twenty years ago) in high school and I've been pondering its themes a lot lately.
First I'm going to read the two new Dresden Files books because I'm a sucker for pulpy urban fantasy. If that gets me canceled so be it. Actually listening to them on audiobook and James Marsters has such a nice voice.
Yeah the tv series coming out soon got me thinking about the books and how it relates to materialist analysis that I never picked up on when I read it back in the day. If I do I might even record something and post here cuz I really love channels like Renegade Cut and other leftist media critiques and haven't seen anyone do a piece on Foundation.
Nuthin wrong with the Dresden Files, they're just fantasy romance harlequin books for dudes
Are the radio programs accurate to the books? I haven't read the books, but I listened to the old 50's radio plays of them, and I enjoyed them a lot, but I'm wondering if I would gain much actually reading them.
