The only people who could be so fervently anti-piracy are those who always had their parents' money to buy every single film/song/game/etc. they ever wanted, and lacked the empathy to think others might not afford it so easily. Take away all their money and then see how quickly they would justify seeing (without buying) the latest Marvel film that all their friends watched.
If not for piracy I would have no games for my PSP as a kid! And even then, it was a glorified GameBoy Advance emulator!

Yeah, voice actors are treated horribly. Not stealing their voices is as much a solidarity thing as anything. Also stealing someone's voice is really icky. A nice gay Dane wrote a whole "Don't build the Torment Nexus" about it.
Its one thing to create a meme using ai that is largely harmless. Its another to automate away everyones fucking job with ai. Voice actors have it hard enough, ai is the final nail in the coffin for that profession.
Like everything else, the problem isn't the technology, it's capitalism using that technology to fuck over workers.
