I disagree. Snippets of their diatribes help to emphasize their odiousness. It's especially helpful for converting fence sitters.
Even when it's a person I already don't like. Even when it's a position I am willing to assume they defend. I like hearing the sound bite. It demonstrates to me that we aren't just straw manning the other side. It provides the nessesary context for me to endorse the rest of the analysis.

You think that's bad? I listen to "I don't speak German", which is two lefty podcasters who listen to fash media (the actual openly Neo Nazi stuff), and they play a fair amount of fash audio to explain what the fash are discussing. But a) it's played at like 1.5x, so it's kinda funny, b) I don't listen to it outside the house.

Aside from the fantastic audio work they do on the west wing thing, i really like listening to every male character be an asshole to every female character. can't get enough of it. TBF, they have stated that they intend to educate people who think their fave show couldn't possibly be this shitty. I just skip the clips when i can because I don't feel the need to disagree with their analysis. The other thing is you miss half the smugness of the west wing if you can't see their smarmy faces. Hearing clips on TWWT is bad, but when I tried to watch it, it was painful.
I just realized that some of the clips they play are so long, i forget why they played them by the time they're over. Might be useful to at least put in the timecode so people can see the context (LMAO) as well.
