Mike is maybe the least annoying conservative. he might actually practice conservatism by keeping it (the conservatism) behind closed doors and not flashing it in public.
i haven't actually looked into this further so i can't say for sure and don't want to be disappointed
i think Kevin as servo is the one saying the most lines, not sure about rifftrax but older mst3k episodes have some awkward chuddy riffs from him on occasion
Joel, Bill, Frank and Trace seemed good right?
frank is a turbo lib along the lines of George takei
At least Mike denounced Doug TenNapel, the piece of shit creator of Earthworm Jim, so that's something.
I remember the biggest news coming out of the attempted reboot was that Doug TenNaple signed the rights over to Interplay back when he created it, so he would never see a dime from the reboot. Edit: Okay I just looked into it and apparently the reboot was just a scam to hock NFTs. So very on-brand for Doug.

Yeah but that's character-appropriate for Tom Servo, who's absolutely full of himself. He genuinely doesn't care about anyone else.
yeah but i remember like for example when they would have one of those japanese movies on and he'd say some weird shit.

Mike is definitely the better host, even though he's a chud.
They were right, he deserved everything for having those footprints on the side of his van.
MST3K is my go-to background noise, always nice to see other fans!
One of my personal favorites is from the short-lived spinoff series Cinematic Titanic, a live episode called "Alien Factor". It's a fairly cheap budget sci-fi horror, with an ending that feels like they realized they were on their last 10 minutes of film time as they were shooting the scene.
All of the shorts, especially 50s industry produced ones, are so good! The naked propaganda of it all is unbelievable as well, and rightly mocked!

"I wish I could control you like your father controls this ship!"
"You mean, have a mutiny on me, or...?"
I've often thought that Monster a Go-Go was also a great introduction. The intro host segment, the short, the feature, it's just a fun ride start to finish. In terms of "syllables to laughs" ratio, Tom Servo's "'Oops'." is probably one of the best in the series.
That Star Crash episode was an amazing ride. I loved it. I actually really liked the Jonah run. I think any long-running show needs regular cast changes to keep things fresh, even in a comedy show with robot puppets.

speaking of old bad movies I am about to watch the island of doctor moreau and I am not sure if my brain can take it... wish me luck
have you ever seen the documentary about the making of that movie? it's every bit as entertaining as the movie itself, maybe even more so
