Like you're pointing out, many of the things that feel like they're "missing" were functions of us posting in "hostile territory." I'd rather feel at home than behind enemy lines atm.
I'm just thankful this place exists at all TBH. I hate spending time on Twitter and Reddit is unbearable without CTH.
All these years later I still don't understand Twitter's appeal, and hard agree on Reddit. /r/CTH getting banned was great because it gave me the opportunity to look at my self clearly and say "Why the fuck do I even come to this stupid website" without having the lame cop-out excuse of "Butbutbut my chapos are here."

Be patient. You can't force the magic. LF spawned weird Twitter which spawned Chapo/the sub. Eventually the spark will come back
I think its just number of users. There was like over 100,000 people on the last sub while we only have a fraction of that here currently. Personally though it really seems like we're moving in the right direction!
