I feel like you missed this part?

    if your great-grandfather experienced them

and no I'm not Italian, I'm just saying don't forget that the present is forged out of the material conditions of the past

Men make their own history, but they do not make it as they please; they do not make it under self-selected circumstances, but under circumstances existing already, given and transmitted from the past. The tradition of all dead generations weighs like a nightmare on the brains of the living.

No I didn't miss it but I'm talking about whether or not they're experiencing systematic racism that was passed down to them. The answer is no and in fact they happily participate in the system of white supremacy that still effects generations of black, brown and indigenous.

makes it all the more shocking

How? How is it shocking that I'm wondering why you keep saying that italians still feel the effect of wasp discrimination? Or do you think I was applying that first post to all people and situations?

              just want an “out”

That's horsehit. You wrote three times before you deleted it that "I better not talk about systematic slavery and black people or I'll be cancelled" which is what that last comment is addressing.

Lol you said in the last edited post that I was using a dishonest paraphase when you said you would cancel me if I applied the same logic to black people and systematic slavery did you not???

I'm not talking about that post since I don't give a fuck about it. I'm talking about you saying that I wrote a dishonest paraphrase and wanted "an out" after you deleted said post about slavery. What a fucking coward that you want to throw around an accusation like that and not want to address it.
