Honestly makes me tear up just thinking about it. It's amazing what a difference a simple gesture of connection and kindness can make when you're feeling so utterly alone and alienated.

I wrote paragraphs critiquing this sentiment as someone inside the fandom, but I got five paragraphs in and was veering into capitalist realism so I stopped myself.
Rather than some wordy, pseudo-lefty analysis, I'll just say we have a glut of people doing that already and it sucks then follow with an emoji.
