I dont know how they're going to spin the next two years come 2022 midterms if dems win the trifecta. They're not going to have any adequate plans to address climate change or wealth inequality, they're going to drag everyone into a war with Venezuela or Iran and start a cold war with China. And the 2022 GOP is going full out Q trump-esque slate, they're not going to be able to deal with their political opponents in any of the traditional norms respecting discourse wars.
They are going to do the exact same they did 2009-2011. Do nothing, lose a house in the midterms, then throw their hands up and say "well, guess we can't do anything".
It's going to be interesting , because conditions are so bad that they will be under incredible pressure to do something this time.
Assuming Biden doesn't just drop dead in the next three weeks of course.
