I really flummoxed the doctor that gave me my first COVID shot. Came in with an androgynous outfit + mask and gave him my passport which still has my deadname on it. He opened it and even after I confirmed that that was my name he still couldn’t get why it says "male" right under it until I told him that I was trans.
Hardest I’ve ever male-failed. Not even my untrained voice clued him in.

I used to be trans. I still am, but I used to be, too.
