Oh what a surprise, the guy who was real concerned about the Uyghur Genocide is a transphobe. Can't believe these clowns keep rooking leftists, who should know better, into voting for them. Death to liberals

I say this as someone who knocked doors for Ralph Nader as a teenager in 2004 and got yelled at by people in a bipartisan way

the greens are a random grab bag of social fascism, I wouldn't expect ideological consistency between any two members

You have to write in the psl? They are just on the ballot in my state. But i guess my state doesnt matter its 4 electoral votes and its the bluest state there is, i think. So no one really cares who is on the ballot.

Ballot access rules vary wildly between states. In some getting on the ballot is super easy (Florida). In some it's a lot of work but doable, and PSL organized to make that happen (California, Minnesota, Virginia). In some the latter is true but the party was repressed and removed from the ballot anyways (Ohio, Pennsylvania, Georgia). In others the bar to get on is so high that it's basically impossible for new parties so a write in is the best we can do (NY, Michigan).

maybe a both sides type of thing? This way she gets plausible deniability while also appealing to the large transphobic voter base

They don't appear to have much more "party discipline" than the Democrats (who expect nothing of themselves, of course). They're prone to the same bs like this happening and should not be taken seriously.

I think the only hard vetting was the issue of Gaza as she said her VP was going to absolutely be pro Palestine. I don't know where Stein stands on the sports inclusion issue specifically, the party platform does not address specifically the issue of sports, but she has advocated to undo discrimatory laws against LGBTQ+ people.

I can't find a direct question to her on it. As a medical doc it would be good for her to weigh positively in. The Democrats are using this moment to smear the party as a whole at the Daily Beast, which is odd because they all know greens are more inclusive than democrats on this issue.

      The @GreenPartyUS

has supported full equality for transgender persons in its party platform since 2000. #LGBTQ #WeAreGreen

Fuck Butch Ware's transphobia and sinophobia. Who knows what other skeletons he has in his damned closet. Between this coming out and Our Revulsion trying to use Trump as a shield and vote shame me into consenting genocide and text spam basically bulsing a doxxing database on votes spamming me, it has been a very fustrating day. I am so sorry to the transgender allies and those wanting better. This shit hurts and Ware's bullshit perpetuates horrible ignorance and sterotypes.

And like that, made me a lock for de la Cruz

At first I thought "hey, maybe Green'll crack 5% this year" but honestly? Now I just hope they crash and burn, embarrassingly

What is it with libs who larp as progressives turning out to be transphobes? Colin Allred running against Cruz pulled the same shit about sports. Which is funny because my Dem friends are super pushing and wanting him to win even though they recently grilled a youth sports director on his stance on trans sports and tried throwing him under the bus over a milquetoast response that was basically him stating he "doesn't care as long as it's not hurting anyone."

As a black trans person especially, I'm baffled that this seems shocking to you, but that's because I got a lot of personal experience to vouch for this. I see racism and transphobia as a core part of libs, even the ones who pretend to be slightly to the left of socdems. I've gotten both "subtle" racism and transphobia from them, and in scratched instances, some have taken off the mask.

      “Vote blue no matter who”

Even if that person is a transphobe. What? Do you want transphobic Ted Cruz to win? Suck it up, cupcake.

I voted for Stein because I want to add to the liberal meltdown over her popular vote count if Kamala loses.

0 chance the green party will ever wield power, but if they pass 5%, get federal funding and subsequently on the ballot in every state then we have a 3rd party that is at least anti-genocide.

No I don't believe there is any strategy that will move the US government left in time, but we are here and talking about this shit so that's my "tactical" vote. Green party is the compromise I guess.
