Oh what a surprise, the guy who was real concerned about the Uyghur Genocide is a transphobe. Can't believe these clowns keep rooking leftists, who should know better, into voting for them. Death to liberals

I say this as someone who knocked doors for Ralph Nader as a teenager in 2004 and got yelled at by people in a bipartisan way

They need to get beyond impromptu quasi celebrity picks.

I believe Butch is out of line with platform policy, which he has to have read and agreed to. Guy is good on Gaza, crap other things.

    Edit

Supposedly he had talks with the Lavender Greens and a statement is incoming. Feeling queezy already.

He's some acedemic PhD historian of West Africa. I don't know how else to describe flashy people in acedemia. He's not as famous as say Carl Sagan or those other very public talk show scientists. Stein said she had a list of people whose names were making their way around the pro Palestinian student activist circles and this is who she chose. I never heard of the guy before he was vaulted to a VP slot.

He's fucked up with this and the China uyigur thing and I thunk he needs to hasan-stfu on topics that aren't his wheelhouse, and stop falling for stupid trap interviews. He's in acedemia circles. He's a professor. He should know kids and have all that training and experience with transgender students who will now not feel safe if he goes back to teaching.

He's been nothing but spitting L's past Gaza and not only is he spreading bullshit and making the party look bad, but he's spreading consent for hate and discrimination. That's not fucking cool. That's not what the Green Party professes. Not the Green Party I know. As VP he is representing the party and supposdly the platform on the ticket, and his imperalism and ignorance, which leads to his transphobia, selective or not, transphobia is transphobia which pisses me the fuck off as the Greens are better than that.

Obviously transgenders have a right to play sports with their peers. Exclusionary policies only teach others to hate and division which lead to discrimination throughout life. It fosters depression lonliness isolation which denies a person equal rights and equal worth within society. The Greens know this or at least should know this, and update their public facing stuff to specifically address this. Ware needs a serious dressing down and education. He's become a liability. I"m not on Xhitter otherwise I'd dress him down myself.

And it is on Stein and whatever commitee process she has to properly vet this kind of stuff. So that L oversight is on her.

And like that, made me a lock for de la Cruz

At first I thought "hey, maybe Green'll crack 5% this year" but honestly? Now I just hope they crash and burn, embarrassingly

That's one way to torpedo your potential voterbase. Good luck getting to 5% with this fuckface.

I think voting is fundamentally useless; but I do want to watch liberals seethe, then figure out how how to mentally contort themselves in a sufficient enough fashion to try and deny whichever third party cracks 5%. Call it morbid curiosity at this point.

Til finding this out about Ware, I figured Greens had the best chance of doing it this cycle.

The libs are delusional enough that they'll think people who vote for a ML candidate would be shoe-ins for the-democrat votes - we're just not being pragmatic or realistic enough

I voted for Stein because I want to add to the liberal meltdown over her popular vote count if Kamala loses.

0 chance the green party will ever wield power, but if they pass 5%, get federal funding and subsequently on the ballot in every state then we have a 3rd party that is at least anti-genocide.

No I don't believe there is any strategy that will move the US government left in time, but we are here and talking about this shit so that's my "tactical" vote. Green party is the compromise I guess.

why would someone even consider green over psl if they're voting third party?

I do like that Stein is out there, at every major left wing protest causing trouble and getting arrested for it. I remember she vandalized a bulldozer at the DAPL protests and thought that was worth some support. PSL is invisible. I have literally never seen La Riva or De la Cruz in person. They aren't running around trying to be seen. No one knows who they are and it is because they aren't hustling like Jill is.

Claudia is definitely hustling all over the country. She's been holding events in lots of states at community centers and universities. Maybe she could have been flashier at some protests but PSL might not want to entangle their lead party candidate in anything with potential criminal consequences as they are still a smaller party than Greens and probably don't have as substantial of a legal fund.

Ballot presence and write-in laws making it so they can't vote PSL

You have to write in the psl? They are just on the ballot in my state. But i guess my state doesnt matter its 4 electoral votes and its the bluest state there is, i think. So no one really cares who is on the ballot.
