Can I join you next time I hear that we're "in this together"? No. We aren't. You are social distancing from a home office somewhere. I am working drive thru taking orders from chuds who think masks are oppression or conspiracy. There is neither "we" nor "together" involved here.

Oh, it's the best when CEOs of companies come out and say: "We understand that this situation is difficult, as we are dealing with an unprecedented situation. But we assure you that we are doing everything we can possible to ensure the safety of our employees". Like FUCK YOU. Let the office employees work from home. Stop forcing the (potentially) sick employees to take their own sick pay if they have to isolate. Stop letting customers approach the store staff. STOP PRETENDING LIKE YOU GIVE A FUCK WHEN YOU CLEARLY DON'T. Fuck, I'm so mad.

I'm already dreading the "we made it through this together, celebrate by buying x" run of ads after a vaccine rollout.
