Xenia, the fox girl mascot of Linux, was first designed in 1996 by Alan Mackey. She was meant to be an alternative to Tux, the official mascot.

She had fallen into obscurity, but was noticed by a Twitter user in 2019 and was redrawn as a fox girl. But as it turned out, Xenia was originally meant to be male! The original creator, Alan, was cool with this, saying "It matches the transition of a lot of the smartest, nerdiest Linux users I know" and "And sure, you made her trans!".

So now we have a trans Linux mascot. And I think that's neat.

    Confronting Zionism as a fascistic movement means coming to terms with Settler Colonialism as a fascistic movement, and liberals aren't comfortable with that because they are live in those states. It's perfectly okay to feel bad about Settler Colonialism after the fact, and it's actually awesome when they all die off (to the Liberal mind) because they can't correct you and you get to claim them as the ideological founders of your state that makes it distinct from Europe and distances you more from the ongoing project of Settler Colonialism. Being anti zionist is the Sina Qua Non of real internationalism - it's one of the perfect crystal clear deliniations between the labour aristocrats and proles, the ones the international bourgeois can count on to defend financial imperialism and its rougher forms in the metropole and the ones who will be a problem to the system of Empire should they ever gain power.

      ty, i think that is a pretty excellent explanation of why these fucking people can't get their heads around it.

      we are gonna try and go to munches eventually, but it's not really a replacement for that space because both me and partner are disabled, live in the middle of nowhere, and my partner doesn't speak spanish yet. but maybe something online will turn up.
