Trudeau used the recent mass shooting in Nova Scotia as an excuse to implement the new restrictions on guns in Canada. The perpetrator of the mass shooting was a likely RCMP informant. It's all very fucking shady. The bastard who murdered people was likely protected and manipulated by law enforcement. His actions would not have been hampered by the current gun restrictions. IMO it was all a political ploy to take heat off the possibility that the RCMP royally fucked up and protected and aided a fucking psychopath who went on to murder many innocent people.
