that's what happened to me; i was as respectful as possible while expressing my opinion and i got vitriol from trekkies and a reddit style shadow ban from the star trek instance; i'm also not the only one.

I didn't realize that so many people were deeply emotionally wounded by losing twitter. The whole thing just fucking sucks. Like I'm sure there are good communities but mostly what I feel looking at Bluesky is absolute certainty that the Libs are going to build themselves an iron-clad echo chamber to shut out everything happening in the world so they can have eternal brunch in peace and comfort.

The fact that you can remove the link to your tweet from any quote tweets on bluesky removes one of the fundamental aspects that make Twitter work (bullying annoying people)
