If i was born in Gaza i would probably hold most the same opinions i do today (secularist, anti-hamas, peace with Israel) but likely you would never have heard of me
as Hamas would've shot me for my opinions many years agobecause Israel would've already killed me years agoLiberals believe their ideas are an essential part of their identity, not a product of your environment and experiences.
So honestly this is coherent from the perspective of a liberal: if he had different ideas it wouldn't me him growing up in Gaza it would be someone else
Liberals believe their ideas are an essential part of their identity, not a product of your environment and experiences.
This often expresses itself when people use "but that's my opinion!" As a defense.
Like, no babe, the fact that it's your opinion means you have to defend you shitty position more, not less.
even if i was born into a radically different set of circumstances i would have the exact opinions i have now because my opinions are the right ones and with enough logic anyone would come to the same conclusions because they are simply correct
John aziz got bodied by bad empanada ages ago. He’s a kapo
If I was born in Gaza I would still have the same desire of killing this guy for being like that
these people are so so SO fucking gross holy shit. "if i was born in auschwitz the first thing i'd have said was 'wow! this doesn't look like a concentration camp to me! is that a swimming pool!?'"
My friends ex watched some YT videos and now thinks most of the prisoners died from disease and it couldn't have been that bad because there were exercise bikes at Auschwitz.
"akshually they didnt kill them with chemicals they did so through psycopathic neglect and biological means"
wow and with all the palestinians now dying of disease we already see where this is going. there's already something else to blame. don't ask what conditions created by who caused those people in auschwitz or gaza to contract those diseases, they just died of disease. just like all the native americans too i guess. wild how that keeps happening.
God these fuckers are so disingenuous and contrarian. Guards had facilities for them at concentration camps and sometimes kapos got limited access to those facilities for a variety of reasons. Ordinary prisoners did not have access to any of that. Often they were limited to their bunk house and the immediate area outside it, where they did forced labor.
Zone of Interest was good at depicting life of guards and the perks that came with it.
No, those facilities were also for captured British officers. They later testified on what they saw and were a big part of the Nuremberg trials
besides the fucking fact that if we even take their ludicrous revisionism at face value its still A FUCKING HORRENDOUS CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY
most of the prisoners died from disease
I mean, they're technically not wrong, they died from preventable disease, caused by Nazi's imposed labor and living conditions on the concentration camp... Jesus Christ... gas chambers were one major part, but not the only one
there were exercise bikes at Auschwitz.
But the treat mean that they weren't oppressed
Remind me again when some stupid Destiny bro tried to argue to me that Gazans were privileged to have wifi and le iPhone
My views are perfected. I have totally analysed all my beliefs and ideas with rationality and logic and found them to be correct. I am the fully realised liberal individual. Why yes of course I support capitalism, colonialism and genocide it is logical you see.
The tragedy of possibly being killed by Hamas for being a traitor and collaborator instead of definitely still being murdered by the IDF anyway for being a Gazan.
Killed by Hamas for his beliefs?
More like Killed by Hamas for being a rat...
My coworkers keep calling me a scab and a worthless piece of shit just because I keep crossing the picket line.
If you put me anywhere, I imagine I'd still be a judas goat leading all of you to death
Yeah, beliefs and worldview definitely do not arise from the circumstances in which you exist
It is such a fundamental misunderstanding of "if I was born x y or z" as a thought exercise, it's almost impressive.
