Everyone's got the shits or has some version of a respiratory infection. I definitely don't publicly show glee. But damn, stop eating murdered animals and put on a mask.

Didn't know which comm to put this in.

Since getting COVID a year and a half ago I have the shits literally every day. It’s so annoying. I’ve figured out that it made me lactose intolerant but that’s definitely not the only thing wrong and I’m not sure what the other issues are.

I’ve had maybe 1/4th the number of respiratory infections I would get before I started masking though. It’s great.

My bro is having stomach issues to the point of only being able to eat broth and plain oatmeal. I went digging around and sure enough, there's decent studies that show about 10% of people develop new stomach issues in the 6 months post COVID, both IBS and other "disorders of the gut brain interaction" or DGBIs.

Got laughed at like a paranoiac when I brought it up though lol.

Both times I had COVID I had GERD-like symptoms for months afterwards. Thankfully, they eventually go away for me but it sucks to be sick for 4 months.

Yeah, I haven't caught anything since I started masking fulltime. Which is good because the number of things that are falling apart on me, since getting Covid some months before that, are adding up. Age or Long Covid, who knows, but I don't need another infection.

When I was vegetarian, I had lactose intolerance read bad. I'm pretty sure that it just gets much worse when you're older, especially if you're non white.
