Feels like a possessed batch of ketamine. Low doses are like slightly trippy alcohol. Heroic doses are like standing with one foot in the K-hole. Sounds fun, except this stuff also induces confusion to a much stronger degree than other true psychedelics (almost approaching the level of confusion seen in deliriant trips). At medium doses in particular, this stuff will make you do some incredibly weird shit.
What salvia is to LSD and other good phenethylamines, Dextromethorphan is to ketamine and other good arylcyclohexylamines.
For pure psychonautica purposes, it's a convenient way to induce confused dissociation that lasts much longer than N2O while being much safer than Diethyl Ether. For recreational purposes, it's pretty shit tbh. Sure, it's a lot more easily available than ketamine or pcp, but with the relatively high availability of deschloroketamine, this stuff is little more than a lazy way to get a bottom tier dissociative experience.
