Is this the best party to join? I'm struggling figuring out how to get involved in leftist politics. My town seems to only have a DSA, and I suspect they're full of boomer libs
I don't know. I joined PSL in a fit of rage and strive to actually do something. I think "best party to join" is more up to you and your ideology. I like to think I'm fairly left neutral and I even told the recruiter that, to be honest. At the end of the day, I don't particularly care so long as people are provided for and taken care of. Where I live, there isn't much but I'll take what I can get in terms of involvement in volunteer opportunities and doing outreach to bring people left.
