and can you precisely pinpoint why you're having one ?

I get headaches so regularly that it’s not an event, so I don’t even keep track. I’ve been this way since childhood. At least 3 days a week I’ll have a headache, sometimes more. I think they are mostly tension-related, but I honestly don’t know. The ones with stabbing pain are rarer, and they might be migraines, but I gave up on trying to figure it out years ago. I’m just a headache machine.

I saw one as a child and it led to a lot of testing that went nowhere. Generally, I think the consensus was that I was a very tense child, haha. I could revisit it, I guess, since as an adult I’ve had at least one severe migraine with vomiting and general inability to do anything. But I’ve got other ailments I’m trying to address, and doctor stuff is such a pain even with insurance. Although maybe I should take advantage of the insurance now, because who knows what the future holds... :(

I used to get a migraine every week and regular headaches all the time; then I started getting high and they stopped so I don't really know what's up with that but I haven't filled a script for migraine medication in years. I am going to choose to believe the headaches were caused by capitalism-induced-schizophrenia, and LSD therapy/smoking weed cured me of the ideological trap. Whether being big sad doomer is an improvement over headaches remains to be seen.

I get loads, but I think the main culprit is my dumb ass having half a dozen concussions before I became 15. Been good about protecting my head since.

I've learned to live with them though, not really an issue unless I need to hurl.

Every other day - usually triggered by dehydration, fatigue, or both. Doesn't tend to dissipate if I rehydrate though; I take codeine if I have any.

Me too. I get headaches, which last the whole day if I'm lucky. If im unlucky, it usually means I have shit to do that day and I'm stressed out about having a headache all day, which makes me nauseated and I spend all day throwing up with a headache.

I dunno if I ever know why I'm having them but drinking ice water always seems to make them go away.

I get icepick headaches randomly sometimes but the amount increases when I'm tired or stressed.

I get migranes or headaches like everyday a little before, during, and a little after my period because of hormones or something.

If you're looking for a cause writing down the days you get them is a good start to see if there's any patterns.

I think I get them often when I'm stressed or if the air quality is bad. I've sometimes gotten them at least twice per week but think it has gone down

Sometimes, but usually it's dehydration or poor sleep or something else.

Once a week to once a month, depending on stress, sleep , weather, nutrition, social activitiy, light.

I started keeping track of it for a few months it, almost always explainable.

Maybe once a week? It's usually if I got shit sleep the night before or if I've had too much or too little coffee.

fairly rarely. before E (well, ok, my daith piercings may actually be the responsible party, I got them at the same time that I started E so I can't actually tell), I used to get migraines every couple of weeks but now I really only get them if I haven't slept in like 40+ hours. these days, it's usually a muscle ache of one kind of another.

I have a migraine about once a month and have since I was 10 years old. There seems to be very little rhyme or reason to why they happen, although they do get more frequent when it's hot out. I doubt I'll ever know what exactly causes them, since I'd have to see a specialist, and I've been uninsured for years.
