I can't add any restrictive rules to my diet or I will literally stop eating.
I know some people who were vegan for awhile but had to start eating meat again due to health concerns.
If this isn't a physical thing then I understand. I used to use "veganism" to restrict my caloric intake… and micromanage food because nutrients. It sucks, stay strong.

Anorexia is a very relevant health concern. I support everyone who can recover and stick to their plant-based/vegan/vegetarian diet but I also know what crying over eating a small bowl of rice feels like. I'm not shaming anorexics in recovery for eating and you shouldn't either. Unless you want us dead in which case, whatever, one less comrade oh wait-
If you care about EDs sufferers staying vegan and/or vegetarian you should care for harm reduction and advocate for body autonomy during inpatient treatment.
