99% of the libertarians I've ever met are dyed-in-the-wool Republicans who don't want to own up to it. They blindly follow the Bushes and Trumps of the world, but they want to come across as hip, forward-thinking independents with the "Libertarian" label.

Most "libertarians" are just Republicans who were embarrassed by Bush because of Iraq and the aesthetics of the religious right. A few of those people drifted left, but most of them are full-on Trump supporters.

        True

I also like the idea that Libertarians are just Republicans who like smoking pot.

I watched like 10 minutes of the "debate" between v**** and Timmy P

How anyone can watch this person is beyond me. Jordan Peterson at least sounds smart. Ben Shapiro is at least a good public speaker.

But Tim Pool is just so unbelievably dumb, not only that but he refuses to even align himself with the right, the fucking bumbling coward. V**** wiped the floor with him, made him look like the absolute moron he is, and he just kept blabbering his nonsense which he clearly knew nothing about.

How much of a gaping void does your head have to be to think this is at all someone worth listening to?

This is one of the only clips I've ever seen of Tim and it's such a massive self own I can't understand how he hasn't fucked off forever just on the basis of this one statement https://twitter.com/known0thing1/status/1302371013972369408

I know this guy who I thought was obviously some kind of anarchist or demsoc. The serious form of a hippie, works in regenerative agriculture, a genuinely nice and intelligent guy. The two times I've seen him speak about politics were:

      1. "I like podcasts. You know, Tim Pool."

      2. "I support anyone's right to march but they're hurting businesses. Why can't they just march? ('They have been since 2014 but nobody listened') Well businesses are being looted."

I want to know what else is on his weekly lineup but am worried to learn he's a cryptonazi or something. Tim Pool is multisyllabic white noise. What possible value does he offer to a farmhand who rents.

If you figure out how to save those pour souls, let us know. The best I can figure is its a years long process of educating oneself about leftism, which you can't really force someone to do

I'm working on one now. I usually focus on just all the evil foreign policy shit the US has done, especially in the last 100+ years. I think if you eventually connect the dots it can break your brain a bit about "American and capitalism good". I've also talked climate change with him for similar reasons, hard to accept the science and not see that capitalism is the root problem. But right now he thinks the GND is too expensive... so I have a ways to go.
