Chuck Todd tried to demonstrate that there are very fine questions on both sides...

This is how they normalized climate change skepticism.

Holy shit this cannot be real lol, make these fucks work retail and deal with all the shitty people that refuse to to wear masks because "muh freedom", lick their fingers to separate cash before paying and have no fucking clue what social distancing or a 6ft/2m gap looks like. Let's see how long the "are you taking covid too seriously" bullshit lasts.

I'm working at the polls and it's making me relive my visceral hatred of corporate/service jobs, because of this exact reason. Thank fuck I'm wearing a mask so I can make faces or smile at people who are being dumbass but jesus christ. The general public are morons, and the majority of people I get to work with are equal morons.

Voting is horrible, I say we do away with it.

Thanks. I had actually gotten 40 of the KN95 masks a few weeks ago when they were available (Amazon, I'll report for gulag duty later) and they fit well and are the most protective from what I've seen. But it is a clusterfuck: we can't enforce masks, no temp checks even for workers, people taking their masks off or leaving their nose uncovered or touching their face then something or me and it just drives me nuts, on top of the inanity that is the general public. I've been taking in extra masks for the other workers who might not have any, but the lack of even a quick wipe down between laptop shifts is frustrating.

We are able to wipe down between shifts but it's on us, so I've been cleaning my desk when I get there. Honestly the mask makes me feel pretty safe, since I only raise it up to drink or eat something when people are away from me and I've got constant hand sanitizer. We do also have plastic shields between us and the public and even the most trumped up non masking wearing chud will usually stay behind it. I'm on a laptop; it's the door greeters and other folks I'm more concerned about.

But of course we're in a smaller county where the cases/deaths are low, plus we're at the beach so people are generally lax on things outside a face covering. I'd say 80% wear masks in my daily travels. It's just frustrating that the governor won't impose more strict measures because he doesn't want to lose reelection, and local gov doesn't want anything else that might be bad for business.

Yeah I'm glad I can't work at the moment because I cannot imagine dealing with people during covid at a supermarket or anything

This sounds like the Biden campaign asked him to say it lmao. Is joe Biden too smart to be president? Is his brain too big and good?

That was my first reaction, this is a setup opportunity so Joe can hammer home how important he thinks it is............considering the news story is about the question, though, I'm guessing he flubbed his canned response. "Look, Chuck, first of all, you got two first names, so I don't know what to call you....but let me tell you about this Corduroy-19 and how it's the best....no, the most dangerous drug available today.....because if you think....ah I shouldn'ta said that."

I've read an article once, arguing that Todd is the single worst person in media, bc he has this uniquely powerfull position and still manages to have the worst takes and priorities, derailing any discussion into the most meaningless drivel. Even people working at Fox serve some sort of function (even if it is a wretched one), but Chuck Todd is just there and makes everyone and anything dumber.

This is what they're going to do after he's elected. The conservatives and liberals will shift gears entirely based on the media.

Conservatives will begin attacking Biden and Dems for how bad their states are handling cases. They were quietly doing this with Cuomo in NY, but you never really heard about it cause most mainstream media has an extreme liberal bias.

Liberals on the other hand, will be saying that lockdowns would be too serious and that Biden is just doing everything he can to make everyone happy, so we need to go along to get along.
