I think it's most likely Biden will make it 4 years, then Kamala is a shoe-in in a primary which has some left-ish person run but get snubbed by the entire process like Bernie in 2016, with the narrative being that it's basically Kamala's turn, essentially making it sort of like an incumbent presidential primary.

Then she'll lose the general, possibly to an ideological fascist.
