This is perplexing to me too. I know this Mexican for Trump online who lives in Texas, and this guy spent hours in line to get into a Trump rally back in 2019. He's maybe 29 or 30 now, but from what I remember, he said he was a liberal but then got different info later on. I'm assuming he started watching Fox News maybe after high school and became conservative/right wing. He's a Brony. He cleans windows for work, invests in crypto and listens to a cringe capitalist podcast. His group consists of other Brony conservatives and a neo-nazi, and he doesn't have any issue with this. Months ago when riots were going on, he was arrested just for trying to get home, made a vid about being wrongfully arrested and spoke about his experience in jail, yet didn't advocate for reform or defunding the police, then bitched about confederate statues being defaced. He celebrated Bernie being out of the election.

I guess he has bought into the American Dream and thinks that bringing yourself up by the bootstraps makes you a true American, misguided, somehow buying into the propaganda and hating anything socialist. Makes sense too as Texas voted majority Republican. Over the years he provided anime streams that brought me and others together, and while I'm not close to him or anything, it's so disappointing to see the person he is.

But, but, but, online incel losers who love Trump are all actually middle class white boys!

/Pol/ used to call themselves "the most diverse hate group on Earth", and they weren't joking. There's a seething undercurrent of working class men of color who feel left behind, and they are going to shift to the reactionary right in the absence of a real material alternative
