The last time the democrats had a majority they let republicans filibuster everything because they didn't have a super-majority. At least half the party doesn't want anything to do with actually implementing left-wing policies because that means raising taxes, and hurting the business interests of their "Donors"

They are going to get destroyed in 2022 midterms. Libs will blame it all on the left (like they are right now) and people on here will still be arguing about how we can radicalize liberals, for real this time!

You can't radicalize liberal politicians or pundits or petite bourgeoisie. You can still radicalize liberal workers. I know plenty of people who legitimately believe their lies. They see them as the only opposition to Republicans, and revealing that false contradiction will do wonders for helping them leave the party.

The Democrats used to complain about the GOP having much deeper pockets than them, at least they did back on Reddit in 2013-2016. Now we really see that the problem is more the fact that the entire party leadership is vapid cultur-warring, who have no fucking skin in the actual game. Republican operatives are WAY more motivated, because they understand themselves in a broader ideological project. Democrats seem to genuinely not understand this, so they just keep hoping for another "great man" to save them from the evil conservatives.

Throwing money at problems would solve a lot of them, the dems hate spending.

Spending where it counts. You know, like millions of dollars for dems to lose elections in a landslide

100% true right there. Right now, the GOP is kicking Trump to the curb after he did his job getting them 3 SCOTUS justices and radically changing the courts.

They have their eye on the bigger prize - the courts. Dems on the other hand focus everything around culture and identity politics bullshit.

I'm not even sure if they consider the courts the bigger prize, but it's a guaranteed way to maintain power, even when demographics aren't going their way. Unlike the democrats, the GOP learned a lot of important lessons when they took a beating in 2008. At least I don't remember it being as much of a project before the massive beating in 2008.

It's impossible to be that stupid, they are deliberately trying to lose...

They won when they knocked Charles Booker out of the race. Everything else is just a gratuity.
