There was this girl in my class last spring I was getting to know pretty well, and before I could ask for her number and if she wanted to go out COVID hit and I never saw her again/

That sucks about the girl, especially with how hard it is to meet people in online classes. I ended up pulling out because I can't stand online stuff. I might go back but I was getting a mediocre education from a mediocre school in a social science and with the economy the way it is now I really don't see much point in taking out another $10-15K to finish it.

Covid would've 100 percent ruined college for me even though I graduated 3 years earlier. I traveled all the time in college going to all sorts of conferences and shit, 99% of what I consider valuable from college was outside the classroom and without that idk how I would've felt.

kind of ruined college for me permanently. like we all knew these schools suck but

HAHA y'all bleeding me dry and trying to kill me with roni, why the fuck would this be worth it? Every school that reopened/does not have everything online is attempting/successfully murdering us and they can get colossally fucked

I told somebody I liked them but didn't know if I wanted anything right now the night before they left for Thanksgiving, and now we won't see each other for two months and she didn't give me a definitive answer of what she thinks of me. Now I'm stuck alone at college because I didn't feel safe going home, and I'm just stressing over the few things she did say in response and trying to figure out her thoughts. covid fuckin sucks man

i'm definitely learning less online than in-person. Can't party, can't make new friends, fear of being reinfected, it all kinda sucks. I graduate (hopefully) in may though so I'm just powering through it at this point.

I was basically on my last semester when the 'rona hit, and actually enjoyed the MS Teams class as I could swiftly switch from work to school then back to work, without driving around.
