Seriously what the fuck
Literally overproduction, people are going to tire because there's too much content to consume.
Who fits that role most? Mara Jade when EU was a thing? Can't remember how well any characters are written, over 10 years since I fucked with Star Wars like that.
oh damn, I just assumed that's what it said and didn't look twice
They're making a fucking movie about Ewoks. The worst thing in the original trilogy and they're making something based on that.
Ewoks were brought in to sell merchandise and make more money, so it makes sense they'd try make a movie about the thing that sells merchandise and makes money.
Oh of course, it's more that it's such a blatant cash grab. We're definitely getting baby wicket or something similar.
Yeah I feel we're at the point where you could think of the worst and most obvious cash grab in Star Wars and it will probably become true.
Mandalorian is good fite me.
But yeah, this seems a bit excessive. Not gonna stop me from being excited about a couple of them though.
...and I'll probably watch all of them because I'm a little piggy who needs his slop. Sometimes it's nice to just turn off the ideology and let my brain rot a bit.
Same I’ll probably watch all of these but like did we really need a Cassian Andor show? Or a show about the bad batch? The mandalorian feels good right now because it’s the only thing like it among Star Wars media. I feel like by the time something like the Kenobi show comes out even the piggies like me won’t be able to take any more slop.
I don't even know who the fuck Cassian Andor is*. Or the Bad Batch. I'm mainly hoping Kenobi is at least as good the Mandalorian.
* Oh, one of the characters from Rogue One. Good movie, but didn't they all like, die? It was good as a self-contained story, a show feels weird.
He should stick to acting/writing, if his last album is any indication of where his music is headed.
I loved it, actually. Wish he continued with his RnB/Funk music instead of *3.15.20, which is another departure from his catalogue. Fair enough, he’s an artist and wants to pour his creativity in different directions, he’s a talented guy. His latest album was a little more experimental, not quite for me.
I don't even know where to begin.
First, Kathleen Kennedy should be fired. Not because of her identity politics or whatever else the red pilled CHUDs bitch about. But mostly because the sequel trilogy is basically incoherent.
None of these seem appealing to me as a medium SW fan, sans maybe ObiWan (medium SW fan defined: love the OT, don't watch any of the cartoons, read a book or two in the 90s, not really on board with the PT or ST).
The Mandalorian is the only thing saving SW right now. In my opinion, Disney should put Favs/Filoni in charge and hire GL on as a major influencer. The last 10 years have shown a level of storytelling incompetence that would make DC fans blush. These people have no idea what they're fucking doing.
I'm more excited about 4k80 than any of this trash.
The fact Disney owns both Marvel and Star Wars is hilarious when one has managed a relatively coherent universe with like 20+ films and the other is a huge clusterfuck with 3.
Like, write an outline, holy shit.
Jesus Christ, you said it. It's sad that they fucked it up so bad, they gave free ammunition to the anti-SJW shitheads on YouTube. Those assholes aren't wrong, either: Rey is a fucking Mary Sue whether you like what she represents or not. And literally nothing else makes sense. Even the decent concepts in TLJ are so hamstring and half-baked they fall flat.
It's the same problem with the new Star Trek too. I'd love to defend these shows from fucking chuds but they're not exactly wrong with 90% of their criticisms. The other 10% are "black woman bad" or complaining that gay people exist.
I like that TLJ at least tries though. Sure it's half-baked but boy are TFA and RoS are some doughy shit.
Why is Indiana Jones up with all that Star Wars stuff? Is it because Lucas Film or are they making that one Han is Indy comic canon?
Indiana Jones
So are they just gonna retcon everything or make a historical epic set in the late 70s? With a main character who was supposedly a university professor in the mid 30s? Or will he be a side character bound to a wheelchair?
