      Why. God what the fuck is wrong with people, having such restaurants is already weird, but going with the kids is just not ok. The US really are a special place.

          Well, the entire point of the restaurant seem to be sexualized waitresses. Not the food nor the location or whatever, but the waitresses. It's the same thing with bare-breasted women at the beach or in paintings, there's a context to thing imo. As you said, it's not a strip club, but that's not really far from it in "spirit". But to each their own opinion, I just don't think Hooters are a place for kids.

      I remember being one of those kids. Mom had to go too, of course.

      She fought with dad about it and eventually we settled.... on an off-brand Hooters that had better tasting wings, smh.
