A site or thread with a bunch of easily accessible content that debunks the anti-Chinese propaganda?
there was a google master doc but google took it down and I'm sure someone saved it and it's probably floating around somewhere but I've since lost track of it
edit: scratch that, found it on the internet archive
thanks a lot man
damn it fucking sucks that all the links were in normal text. IMO always use hypertext for that reason.
I'm guilty of it too as a former r*dditor and wanting to please people
the links work if you scroll down a bit and hit download as PDF (or some other format). It'll pull up the PDF version. I would have linked that directly but I didnt know they didnt work on the website, so thanks for letting me know!
holy fuck I feel like a boomer and I'm 20something
thanks, and sorry if you weren't a man, I was using that sexually prescriptive language again
It's an easy mistake to make, the download buttons are far down the page. And thanks for being mindful of gender-inclusive language :halal:
check the sidebar of r/sino
also I like Roderic Day's twitter thread: https://twitter.com/RodericDay/status/1287411708374454273
Great stuff, thanks.
I didn't know that about the deliberate BBC translation mistakes. I saw that video and saw him say "a policeman told me to come to this school". I kind of assumed there was a different emotional undertone than what whites believed, but had no proof of it.
Turns out it wasn't a different cultural mood, just a blatant lie from the translator.
This r*ddit thread might actually be perfect for that. It has a bunch of different sources, from a bunch of different commenters, with all sorts of shitty pro-propaganda arguments raised and countered.
Yeah, hopefully it's a sign that not as many people are buying the propaganda as we tend to think. Probably a lot of post-election bot slowdown, too.
This is not to be confused with a Zenz suppository which is illegal because white jesus doesn't allow butt stuff
