So, r/neoliberal is ideologically diverse. There are neoconservatives there, neoliberals, progressives, and social democrats. I can't speak to the claims you're making about being naysayed for healthcare claims but it's a huge swathe of ideologies over there, and their stated position on climate change is pro-carbon-tax, pro-nuclear.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, in an ideal world the center parties would be social democrats and neoliberals.:doomjak:
There is something so satifying about ingots. Just knowing it's a pure lump of a single element. It's really cool and satisfying, like we've put a small amount of the universe into our vision of order briefly.
Thank you, this was incredibly therapeutic for some reason. Ingots are so orderly, and I love watching fiery stuff in general.
For example, the creation of limbs and extremities is a higher order function of hox genes. you can take the hox genes that are responsible for creating a leg out of a squirrel, for example, and put them into a fly, and the fly will grow another leg. A fly leg.
So could this be used to modify human bodies? Regrow missing limbs, grow extra body parts etc? What about sex realignment, could someone swap their genitals using dna programming?
I kind of want that bar of iron. Looks shiny but not too shiny. Will also be effective against the fair folk in case I ever piss them off.
