We have the technology to mass produce covid-19 test strip spit tests that work in five minutes and are 99% to 99.9% accurate at the rate of tens of millions per day. Test daily, if you're sick stay home.
The FDA classifies these tests as medical devices so you need a prescription and introduces plastic wrappers, iphone tethering components, high price tags.
We are so free we are not allowed to purchase these test strips for our own private use, whatever that may be. We truly are living in an occupied country whose occupiers wish death upon us.

Maybe not enough of them but they are getting priority and a small number of vaccinations has the potential to make a big difference.
