    Slow sand filters are a good way of purifying water. All you need is clay, silt, sand, gravel, fully charred wood, and a bit of time. Granted, they don't filter stuff like lead so well, but almost every place on earth has the materials needed to make one.

      Thank you for your consideration comrade. I actually have bought a quite cheap carbon filter last year, but I still drink boiled water just in case and out of habit. Well, at least as a consolation for selling out our clean water sources to western food companies, the government have the decency to tell us to cook our water.

        TBQH I think appropriate technology is part of a revolutionary strategy.

        You can't buy up or alienate something that people can just create on their own.
