One, like 1:30 sleep is better than none.

Two, before I started using modafinil (has been amazing for my depression, you do not feel that depression tiredness so you can do stuff, and it kind of feeds in on itself), I'd usually do a ghetto 5-hour energy, i.e. 100mg caffeine pill, a b-complex vitamin, and some vitamin D. Surprisingly effective for not feeling like death. You could get one at a carry-out for $1.

I found a large component of my winter depression was a vitamin D deficiency, so definitely buy / steal one from your store. Everyone is deficient. Weirdly enough, it allowed me to smell again (before covid) never knew I had partially lost my sense of smell. Buy / steal the ones with like 5,000iu for deficiencies (10,000iu daily is the upper safe limit)

Ugh you’re definitely right, but fuck even the idea of trying to fall asleep is fucking crushing, looking at this site, even if it’s just looking at the same posts over and over again, is the only thing keeping me sane. I’ll look into the vitamin d, though isn’t that the one you get from the sun? I live in California and go outside almost daily, so I’d be surprised if that’s the case. I’m not a biologist tho I have no idea what the fuck I’m talking aboit

Yeah, still doesn't hurt to try supplementing for a week or two and seeing if that helps. Some 42% of Americans are vit D deficient, more in winter. They also fit real easy into coat pockets.
