Folks, what even is property? People ask me this all the time, beautiful women - like you wouldn't believe - and huge, strong, handsome men come up to me all the time, and they say, "Mr. President, you're doing an incredible job" - their words, not mine - "at dismantling unjust hierarchy, the best we've ever seen. But we're scared, we don't understand. What is property, Mr. Trump, Mr. President?" they ask me.
spills water on self
Good question. Goooooood question. Anybody out there know?
[From the crowd: "THEFT!"]
I'm sorry, what's that? I couldn't quite hear you.
[From the crowd, absolutely losing it: "THEFT!"]
Ooh, that's right, it's theft, isn't it? Property is theft, folks, it's theft, it's terrible, terrible theft. Think of how much property there is! The whole of the world, privatized - folks, that means the whole world is stolen. Ouch! But don't worry, don't worry. I'll fix it, won't I? You know you can count on me to abolish the state, the church, the propertied classes.
As an ML I beg you, if you’re gonna disparage my anarchist comrades, at least learn their fucking ideology
Anarchy is when bad things happen instigated by the most powerful person in the imperial government, sorry sweaty.
Anarchy is when two factions of the ruling class argue amongst themselves 😤
This is the understanding of leftist political thinking most people have. Anarchism is when there's rioting. Communism is when the government does stuff.
When you understand that, you get that it's incredibly silly to get upset at people trying to at least spin this into "socialism is when the government does good things that help people." That's not aimed at folks who've read 30 leftist books; it's aimed at folks who haven’t read 1 (and who never will unless they start feeling good vibes about leftism).
One of the big takeaways from Manufacturing Consent (and from Parenti's media analysis, too) is that they don't really know what they're doing. Whoever wrote this isn't intentionally misrepresenting anarchism or intentionally bending coverage to benefit the right; they just don't get the job unless unless they're ignorant of leftist politics and reflexively hostile to them.
If words don’t mean things, I’m an anarcho-monarchist. I believe in no government, except a bourgeoisie royal family ala Britain
Here is a big, beautiful stock of tools, folks, and implements. Implements like you've never seen before. Here are all those iron slaves - we love our iron slaves, don't we folks? - which we call machines, which saw and plane, spin and weave for us, unmaking and remaking, working up raw matter to produce the marvels of our time.
" All is for me! If the man and the woman bear their fair share of votes, they have a right to all that is produced by all, and that share is enough to secure them the presidency."

these railways they had in Europe, they were the best railways, everyone said so, and they didn't even need the government to do it
it just happened, like magic
