You ever be walking somewhere and realize you're not wearing your backpack and have no idea where you left it and be like :horror:

and then realize you haven't worn a backpack in years?

      I don't go anywhere without a backpack.

Semi related though, I got a job starting a farm in the middle of nowhere right before Covid started, and I go into town like.. Maybe once a month. I keep forgetting masks are a thing and leaving it in my car (I go back and grab it) not used to it.

I've been using my camelback for years for hiking. I also added a sorta false back cover to hide the bladder, and use it to sneak alcohol into places. Not foolproof but I've only been caught twice in like 30 excursions. I shove the tube in there until I'm inside. My other bag, I'm too lazy too look at the brand but it's some generic milsurp type bag. It's a bit bigger than I'd like for everyday carry, 16 L or something, but I can fit my sleeping pad and bag in there, straps for my tent on top, it's got a solid back which really helps with weight distribution. If I go to somewhere and don't want to pay for a hotel I can fit food, water, shelter, clothes, etc for a few days in there so I don't have to spend a cent. Usually just look for an abandoned area and set up like a bum (not sure if that's non- PC term, if it is I'll change it)

Thanks! I’m currently looking for a bag for more outdoor use like biking and hiking, but also something I can kind of have ready as a go bag. I feel like I’ve always taken backpacks for granted and am now going through like a backpack awakening or something lol
