“Kissinger: still not dead :angery: ”
there will never be justice for Allende :sadness:
I really wanted him to use that text messaging thing as a Twitter. Would have been fuckin hilarious.
If any chuds are reading this, I’d like to inform you that what you’re seeing is Real.
The far-left is in control now. Maoist Joe will find you.
Okay, so this Twitter purge is also targeting Left-wing organizations.
People's City Council - Los Angeles was taken down. Max Blumenthal & other journalists covering the Julian Assange trial have lost a sizable portion of their subscribers.
I'm sure there's more. This happens everytime there's a "clampdown on right-wing influence."
Sincere message
Ever since CTH got banned I've felt like there was a hole in my heart where I was missing a community I truly enjoyed. I visited this sub a while ago, but st that point it was just very dead and I sorta wrote this place off. I tried other subs then got off reddit and tried Twitter, then Tumblr, then just was offline and tried to fill that void with my friends in chats. But I've been back here for like a day now and it's honestly like stepping back into a warm tub. The humor is top notch, theres this glowing lack of opinions that make me feel rage or sadness, people seem to discuss in good faith.
Sincerely love yall. Ty for reading
The worst thing about Trump being banned from Twitter is that we all know he is having a massive meltdown and we can't even laugh at it as he no longer has a platform.
That Henry Kissenger thread really got me for a second. Had to go look it up myself.
If anyone had a bad time with that experience and doesn't ever want it to happen to them again, let me know in that thread and I'll be sure to warn you ahead of time, I'll consult that post and warn everyone who asked before I do it again (which I will be doing) cause I don't actually wanna bum anyone out
Edit: oh yeah, my favorite response to the post: "Yo you absolute fucking bastard lol I already called my friends and took three tequila shots"
It was not ok to kill Kissenger for a joke. And then Juche necromancy him
when i saw it i feel inmense joy only for it to change to complete disappointment
They only release bangers.
From their first episode on charter schools, they have been spot on.
Something something the tactics first used to subjugate abroad eventually coming home to roost
Vaguely half remembering a quote from maybe it could happen here? idk
BLM rose in popularity after the Minneapolis PD precinct was torched.
Trump is rising in popularity after the storming over the Capitol.
idk i think the people might hate this government and want it overthrown
I went on /pol/ to see the cope and the prevailing opinion is that the video of Trump conceding was a deepfake :stalin-stressed:
Apparently people are supposed to have robust memories of their childhood? I have disconnected reminiscences that don't really have any continuity, just like walking on wood and looking at ants, or eating hot wings one night, and a vague sense of where I might have been in the world and very broad imprecise memories of some classmates (lucky if it's a name and a face shape before the age of 12).
Is this not normal? I thought memory just was shoddy for everyone until puberty because it was developing
People can change their politics, especially when they move away from their parents, get an education, start working, try MDMA, and so on.
Give it time.
So my Grandma is going to be a part of either today or tomorrow's 9/11. Fucking hell.
You ever be walking somewhere and realize you're not wearing your backpack and have no idea where you left it and be like :horror:
and then realize you haven't worn a backpack in years?
I don't go anywhere without a backpack.
Semi related though, I got a job starting a farm in the middle of nowhere right before Covid started, and I go into town like.. Maybe once a month. I keep forgetting masks are a thing and leaving it in my car (I go back and grab it) not used to it.
I've been using my camelback for years for hiking. I also added a sorta false back cover to hide the bladder, and use it to sneak alcohol into places. Not foolproof but I've only been caught twice in like 30 excursions. I shove the tube in there until I'm inside. My other bag, I'm too lazy too look at the brand but it's some generic milsurp type bag. It's a bit bigger than I'd like for everyday carry, 16 L or something, but I can fit my sleeping pad and bag in there, straps for my tent on top, it's got a solid back which really helps with weight distribution. If I go to somewhere and don't want to pay for a hotel I can fit food, water, shelter, clothes, etc for a few days in there so I don't have to spend a cent. Usually just look for an abandoned area and set up like a bum (not sure if that's non- PC term, if it is I'll change it)
Thanks! I’m currently looking for a bag for more outdoor use like biking and hiking, but also something I can kind of have ready as a go bag. I feel like I’ve always taken backpacks for granted and am now going through like a backpack awakening or something lol
I feel like the daily megathread has early-internet-forum kinda vibes and I dig it
Yeah some forums were definitely slower paced, but I also remember some general chat threads being pretty lit back in the day
