One of the tangental benefits of the revolution will be eliminating advertising as an industry.

In the US alone, something like 250 billion dollars, and millions of hours of work, are spent on advertising each year, and that could all be replaced by like a simple directory.

"Mere Puffery" It's a silly legal concept, but the general gist is if an Average Joe knows the claim is a bit of BS then the company can get away with it. IE everyone knows Red Bull does not give you wings so Red Bull's claim is not false advertising. Similarly, Gilette is not falsely advertising when it says its "the best a man can get" even though it is likely not the absolute best.

Still the Snickers one is a bit sick as some people likely do believe Snickers does satiate hunger.

Generally speaking, throwing tons of sugar at the problem stops that pesky 'feeling hungry' stuff pretty well, at least for a bit.

I remember one exam week where I had two exams on one day and ate snickers for breakfast and threw it up an hour later. It did not work

Honestly? It has quite a few peanuts in it, and that has always made it a marginally better choice than a pure-sugar candy if all you have is like, a vending machine nearby and you are really hungry.
