In terms of technical ability, aesthetic, and presentation it's hard not to argue that Killer Mike as part of RTJ has been one of the freshest breaths of air in quite some time. I, personally, and definitely as someone who appreciates production over everything prefer El-P in the duo, but I feel the yin-yang creates a situation where the sum is greater than its parts.
However, it is disappointing to hear the music then remember/take on knowledge of the man himself.
It's a similar cognitive dissonance I feel when the hot clipping guy does sesame street
