I don't trust reddit to have the hands required to hold over the weekend but idk. your guess as good as mine
markets are closed over the weekend no?
I'm too doubting the waiting game by reddit, the hedge funds will out-maneuver them over the weekend and the stock will dip on Monday, that's my prediction
What maneuvers do you expect they can make?
I think you are giving these hedge funds too much credit. They need to find a way to chip away at their short positions. But they made zero ground today as of yet. They only reduced their shorts by 6% yesterday. There's still 122% of the total GME shares in shorts still out there.
I don't expect people with real influence to sell GME until hedge funds prove they can cover their short positions. /r/wsb is a hive-mind following a handful of investors who actually understand what's going on.
Once hedge funds find a real way to resolve this predicament, there will be several days to sell off, since their short positions is several times higher than the total circulation of GME.
The dips don't seem to matter, every dip just gives the WSB crowd the chance to snap up stocks that get sold by those trying to get out. Every time the artificial drop starts to happen, its been called out and calls to hold GME flood the WSB reddit.
