          Do you guys not remember that hilarious headline from India, where the BJP thugs were chanting something like "thrash the circumcised"? The headline itself was almost too funny to take seriously, despite it describing a litteral lynchmob.

        I was really pissed when I found out circumcision makes your dick less sensitive and by proxy sex becomes worse. Why on earth would you do that to a person. Goddamn it mom

      I'm circumcised too, while I don't think it's that bad, it's still not consensual and is by definition mutilation

      Female genital mutilation (FGM) "is the ritual cutting or removal of some or all of the external female genitalia" (wikipedia). By those terms, how is circumcision not MGM? Of course FGM has far worse affects, but they're both still mutilation.

      The wikipedia on circumcision literally states: "this article is about male circumcision. For female circumcision, see Female genital mutilation."

        There is like a bajilion types of FGM. Some are better than circumcision, some are worse.

      It's not like FGM, but if someone did the ACTUAL equivalent of circumcision, they would be put in jail.
