"Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claims to be dedicated to the US but she shares part of her last name with Sergei Cortez, a man that lived in a Soviet republic. Moreover, she used both reddit and twitch in the past, both platforms infested with russian disinformation agents. Curious, is it not. When she says she's dedicated to the US, we therefore give this affirmation 3 pinocchios :pinocchio-evil: :pinocchio-evil: :pinocchio-evil: and encourage you to vote for Joe Manchin 2024 in the primary, the best compromise given the current state of the US in our opinion. Among other things, Joe Manchin has promised he would attempt to bring back home at least 15% of the US army servicemen currently deployed for more than two years in Venezuela, and that he would try to 'finally end this COVID situation, probably'"

I don't think this is necessarily a bad strategy in its own right. This won't be the reason they get blown out in the midterms.

The problem is that it doesn't carry any weight when they say it. Especially in light of their power sharing agreement with Senate Republicans. Can't constantly talk about how dangerous and unhinged the Republicans are if you're always trying to pick out the "good ones".

sure, they're not going to do it well, but a committed effort to paint the Republican partya completely unhinged would be effective, I think

True. I guess whatever they do will be good enough for most of their base. Not sure how much its going to win over independents though.

They’re a bit too late for that... ship has sailed.

Of course it’s fucking awful in every other way strategically too

I think a neo-McCarthyism where radlibs purge explicit white nationalists from the military and law enforcement is plausible and would actually be a significant boost to our prospects, as a sympathetic military is essential for the least-bloody transfers of state power to a working class party. I'm not going to knock going after Q believers and proud boys in the government's ranks.

On the flip side, turning the war on terror inwards is bad no matter who they start off going after. We should make a clear movement push to purge law enforcement while at the same time rejecting the erosion of legal protections for the general population.

It won't be an actual purge of white supremacy, it'll just be a new reactionism against reaction. They'll call us Corbynist anti-semites anyway
