nailed it. you could sell this here in America. The branding "American-style" would only help sales. it must taste like salty vegetable oil and nothing else. actually drop the the chilli dip before you export this classic dish back "home." it's only more American that it was imported from overseas.
i have never heard of chili cheese nuggets but it's exactly the kind of thing i would buy
born in the USA baybee :Hoggers: gimme that slop
Like many others in this thread I'm assuming it's some euro-fied take on jalapeno poppers, or maybe they just don't think Europeans know what that means
aww fuck that shit theres too many Ls now it becomes vegetarian. get off my lawn
i would totally 1) believe someone in the states has made deep-fried balls of spiced beef, cheese, and beans and 2) rather have that than jalapeno poppers
Nothing irks me as much about British English as the entirely superfluous extra L in the word chili
It's just a weird-shaped take on chili cheese fries, I've never seen them exactly like this but it probably tastes fine
edit: I just noticed the extra L in "chilli" so yeah it's probably jalapeno poppers
I'm assuming it's the same tub of cheap sweet chili sauce you get with every box of frozen chicken nuggets
ranch. i think ranch would be more faithful, but personally speaking a marinara would be a lot better yeah
I have never had a chili cheese nugget. That should be a jalapeño popper or something. And the chili dip would ideally be ketchup. Otherwise, accurate dive bar snacking I guess
Thinking the same thing. Was wondering if that's what the chili cheese nuggets are? Maybe instead of a jalapeno they call it a chili in the op's country.
Its chopped jalapenos and cheese in those chili cheese nuggets, they're pretty popular here, especially at McDonald's
Jalapeño poppers are much the same except the jalapeño is in one piece and filled with molten hot cream cheese that squirts out and burns your mouth when you bite down on it. They're a mini American version of chiles rellenos
I've long found the lack of vegetables in meaningful quantities in most US meals (not the garbage pictured here mind you, I mean in general) to be pretty sad and worrying.
Mix that with our lack of bidets and you can sleep soundly knowing the asshole of the average american is both filthy and inflamed.
The most horrifying thing to me was seeing what kids were eating as school meals in the US a while back. Often pure garbage. Here are a few examples of typical school menus for schools in my country. There's a ton of rules, too - the menus must be validated by a nutritionist, for example, they also must have large diversity across the months, and so on.
I wonder what the thought process was behind "Mcennedy"
"How about Kennedy, like that famous president the Americans like?"
"Hm that's good but can we make it even more irish?"
Sounds like the name of an American character in a Japanese game
Maybe, I may also document the rest of the Mcennedy line of products the next time I go to a Lidl
what am I, the Queen of Mexico? lose the chili dip. as a patriot, I have a gallon of Kranch on standby.
Replace the chili bites w/ deep fried Mac and cheese and you got an app sampler from sheetz
Yeah this is like going to TGI Fridays or buying food from the shitty food stand at your crappy pool club, except the Mozzarella sticks would probably be served with marinara sauce, the onion rings usually don't have any condiments, and chili cheese nuggets should be renamed "jalepeno poppers."
There's tons of different frozen fries to choose from already, this is something you buy to go with them
