Fetterman immediately was endorsed by two large unions (steel workers and food service) representing 80000 Pennsylvanians. Within just two days of announcing his candidacy he has received 37000 small dollar donations from all 67 counties in Pennsylvania and all 50 states.

Fetterman was endorsed by Bernie Sanders in all of his election cycles and was one of the only people elected to high office in Pennsylvania to endorse Sanders for president in 2020.

        That's a legit worry about our Big Red Son, but on the other hand the urgency of the climate crisis means we can't really operate off of 10-year plans for getting folks into high office. We're not always going to get candidates with nice long records.

            Also it isn’t much either, but he also declined living in the lieutenant governor’s mansion as well as the personal chef and instead reallocated those funds to feeding the community and made the mansion’s swimming pool a public pool

      I could see this guy pursuing a presidential run one day actually, and I could definitely see him having a better chance than somebody like Bernie because he has huge personal appeal to working class Americans
