Acceleration is gonna happen. But if we're going to survive it we need to be strong, not weakened by shoving the capitalists so much rope we accidentally hang ourselces too.

Is it? Cause that forever war thing has really fucked up our plans for world domination and now china gonna run the show.

History might view him as a epic mad lad

Came here to this. Even if he didn’t fully succeed (remains to be seen) he struck the most powerful blow against the American empire in history.

His goal was that libs ask themselves "dang, why these people hate us so much?" and then say "maybe we should leave them the fuck alone", but actually they went "they h8 us cuz our freedomz, that's what the TV says, so we should bomb them until they hate us less".

      Osama severely underestimated libs' stupidity

His idea was shit anyways, fun to watch from a third world outside of the arab cultural zone, but shit.

Was it? Cause I thought us spilling our viral essence into the sand through a series of phyrric victories that would leave us ultimately another victim of the graveyard of empire.

In retrospect I can't remember anything about it specifically appart from the line where he said that if he "hated freedom" he'd of attacked the social democracy belt in norther Europe and not the US.

Hey remember how in America we've been living with Covid and 450k+ deaths because people aren't taking things seriously even when lives are on the line?

I'm thinking accelerationism ain't gonna work here. It'll just result in way worse policing.

Obviously, things simply aren't bad enough.

I mean, look at Yemen. A few years of shit really going off the rails and then what happened next? They figured their shit out, went FALGSC, and now it's an absolute utopia over there.

Or, for a more historical example, consider Tsarist Russia. WW1 causes a breaking point. Big Marxist Revolution. The whole country reforms over, like, six months in the mid-20s. And then nothing bad ever happens to the USSR ever again.

I’m sympathetic to accelerationism but I have to add a caveat - take it seriously until it is undeniably distasteful to them.

Things got so bad under Bush but he was someone libs could tolerate because he was “civil”

Accelerationism is what you believe in when you feel helpless, you see everything getting worse at an increasingly rapid rate, and you are desperately looking for a silver lining.
