Link to the glorious AMA

Apparently many of you don’t know about this and I figured you would all love to see it and read the (many) hilarious comments calling her out on this. The AMA went downhill immediately as people found out who she was and what she did. Much hilarity ensued and I won’t give away too much here as to not spoil the fun for you.

Whatever attempt at propaganda this was, it was obviously thought out (poorly) ahead of time. Now that we are a year removed from the event, we can see several of the accounts asking questions which received answers were brand new and had never posted anywhere before this post and went on to never post ever again. There is something very off putting and inorganic about the way some of these planted questions are asked and you will probably spot them before you check the accounts. It is definitely fucking hilarious that the CIA doesn’t know how the internet works though.

Edit: for some more fun, read her bio on her ISI Consultants page. Some of the hits include: “consultant at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, supporting Operation Enduring Freedom during 2002- 2003”, “has also worked as a linguist and translator for President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush.” and many more!

The update starting with "First of all, we are DEFINITELY not the CIA…" after being called out by a bunch of comments is so fucking funny.

My "Definitely not a CIA asset" shirt has people asking a lot of questions already answered by my shirt.

First of all, we are DEFINITELY not the CIA we are just a group of activists that care a lot about something. Neither is Rushan. Working for the US government in the past doesn’t make you a spy and neither does working to end human rights abuses. Fighting big wrongs requires allegiances between activists, nonprofits, and governments… that’s how change happens! So, for those of you who say we are the US government, you can believe that… but it’s not true.

Wow! Thanks for sharing I had no idea this happened. She claims 3+ million people in concentration camps. And there’s only 10 million Uyghurs. They’re so full of shit.

I hadn't seen this. It's amazing holy shit.

    This comment is so good:

    ChristOnAUnibike:

If you understood that you'd know Xi Jinping doesn't have to pay me a penny to praise China or point out holes the size of the milkyway in anti-Chinese racist propaganda by Americans who specialise in "atrocity propaganda".

How's those WMDs in Iraq btw?

Remember when Hilary said Ghadaffi was 'handing out viagra for soldiers to rape'? And then NATO destroyed the most successful country in Africa?

Or the gulf of tonkin incident which was a fake incident used to justify the Vietnam war?

Or how about incubator babies in Iraq to justify invading it the first time in the 90s?

Here's Maggie Albright, Secretary of US State saying half a million dead iraqi childen was "worth it"

That's what you stand for you fucking shit-lib

Now if you excuse me I have to take a shit and I'm out of TP. Luckily I have the next best thing to wipe my arse - the american flag lol

    This shit was delicious

Daniel Dumbrill also did an interview with her which was pretty boring (just ignored his question and kept repeating 3 million Uyghurs)

However he then did a follow up video where he examines in detail what she said during the interview and picks apart her lies

He also managed to dig out an Al Jazeera documentary (pulled from the web years ago but he found a copy) where Rushan Abbas discusses Guantanamo Bay and the human rights atrocities going on there

I couldn’t even remember what exactly I said. I read another link someone commented that showed her connections and piled on asking and/or shitting on her. I mean it was 1.2 years ago lol

    Just the hits

This is literally 1984: "Yes, according to the former inmates. Have you read the 1984 by George Orwell? That is how the current situation is. People are living within fear and there is no any sort of basic freedom such as freedom of expression, freedom of movement, etc. There are more than a million Uyghur people live in diaspora who cannot even communicate with their family members back home. This is 21st century, information era. Can you imagine none of those Uyghurs could just pick up th ephone and call their fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters back home?"

I'M NOT CIA I SWEAR: "I don't work for CIA. You sound like the Chinese Communist regime accusing me for something so unreal. But, thank you for proving to the intelligent people how the CCP trolls work on social media :)"

When you don't know how to spell Urumqi: "My proof is my sister's daughters who have not being able to communicate with their mother since September, 2018. My proof is that it is 2019, it is the information era and my sister's neighboors or friends in Urumchi cannot find out her whereabouts. My proof is that this tourist woman Hanna went to Urumchi, after I posted my sister's home address and couldn't find her and told the world on YouTube that her door is being sealed (check from my tweets for the actual video in September 2019). If you are working for the Chinese government, please ask about my sister and help me to get her release."

As an American, I’m very proud of working for the US government in Guantanamo while translating for 22 uyghur inmates there. The uyghurs were treated respectfully with dignity and rights in Guantanamo. Do you want to contact them and ask how they feel about GTMO? They would tell you that their lives inside of the GTMO cell blocks were better than the normal uyghur people’s lives outside of the concentration camps. GTMO detainees were able to fast, able to pray, they weren’t force to eat pork. They had Quran and praying rugs.

Holy fucking shit. This is literally like "Come on guys, Auschwitz had a swimming pool!" (Which was not really a swimming pool but rather a water retention tank for firefighting purposes, also it was used almost exclusively by SS personnel and barely used by some privileged prisoners, the common prisoner was never invited).

Does it really matter if a majority of reddit still believes there is a genocide going on in China? The answer is no and it's only American hegemony that makes it so.

Oh I think we both know it is just a drop in the bucket to call out the obvious bullshit like this ama. It’s a targeted campaign by western interests. All we can do is point that out and make sure as many people know as possible

You think reddit is above just making up numbers on posts the admins like/they're paid to promote?

I don't doubt they'd do that but redditors have continually bought into the propaganda
