Applauding a fascist for a one time check when he made a point of intervening to problematise giving money to immigrant families and ignoring the affect of his NLRB appointees on worker rights and ability to organise in the workplace is the absolute definition of baby brain.

Shut the fuck up, you fucking moron. How are you dipshits given free reign on this stupid site, this place is so fucking garbage.

Trump appointees have majority on NLRB board and objectively lead to worse outcomes for employee rights and ability to organise in workplaces.

To be fair, the only reason we are actually getting 1400+600=2000 is that trump tweeted about it. That’s literally the only reason it was even considered. Progressive dems had been calling for $2000k a month, let alone a one time $2k. So much winning

i'm nitpicking but the $2k complaint should be dropped, it was always just a round number that sounded achievable. $2k or $2600 makes little difference over twelve months of pandemic, it needed to have been monthly

Trump did more to improve the material conditions of working people

This is a hot take. From the very beginning, he made conditions for PoC (i.e. the majority of the working class) worse. And do you not remember the end of 2018 when 400,000 public sector workers were furloughed for over a month?

Stimulus checks can't be credited to the executive branch, and the only other thing Trump did that's good for American workers was canceling the TPP- and that's really more of a "slow the decline" measure than a rebound.

The stonk market is not a good proxy for how well American workers are doing.
