Well yeah, "communism" has always been a catch all for the failures of capitalism. Whenever they say "communism did this", they did it and don't want to take social responsibility, only the profit generated from it.
My favorite is the "communism no toothbrush" meme, that's actually being considered under capitalism (no personal property, everything is rented to save the earth or some shit).
