They're common enough with men with medium-length hair, maybe shorter hair sometimes too. But I almost never see it with shoulder-length hair for instance.
Permit me to disagree. I look like a member of Motely Crue slept in a ditch for a week, so my tastes may be...bad
I don't know how to do that without the hair constantly getting in my mouth :angery:
It's either a mullet if shortened on the top as well, which is Disco Elysium main character levels of unfashionable, or it's considered a "Feminine" cut.
So either hairdressers won't do it for men, or they'll fuck it up in some way and then "fix" it to achieve the look they think is right. So most guys seem to just go for the long swept diagonal look.
It's also hard to make the look work with a ponytail or topknot, which are the only "Corporate-appropriate" styles for men with long hair in more conservative workplaces.
Hey, you rock you. Mutton chops are sure to come back one of these decades.
I had long (shoulder length+) hair for about 10 years - recently shaved it down to a mohawk.
Was more trouble than it's worth - it probably looked best for like 1 or 2 years back in high school but even then it was a niche look. I used to be bothered about going outside cause it would billow out around me and blow in front of my faceOh I did, eventually, had the whole topknot thing going on. Sucked cause my hairline isn't that generous, and it's kinda awkward to have a fringe and tie your hair up at the same time lol
It's called a mullet, is it not? Short in the front, long in the back?
It was considered unfashionable and "trashy" in the 00s and 10s, although I'm sure itll come back. The example pics you showed basically just look like 80s and 90s mullets.
it went out of style after beiber cut his hair. i used to have bangs, but the wind would fuck it up constantly and i never figured out a solution lmao
also it is not a mullet. that said, mullets are coming back
