It's why every time reddit bruhs scream "vote with your wallet" when the next 'games as a service' or microtransaction disaster happens I point out that according to the data we have over 50% of all revenue by in game purchases comes from 0.15% of the total user base.
Statistically speaking people who don't do in game purchases are a majority even though they are made to feel like a minority due to market forces. Step 1 to radicalizing gamers is to get them to understand that they have no real power or leverage within a purely market framework to change anything.
